Bad to the Bone |
|
| |
| What`s this wild and crazy title about? In language teens relate to, Miles McPherson is referring to fifteen Bad to the Bone young people in the Bible who threw caution to the wind, lived flat-out for God, and allowed God to use them in supernatural ways. From Josiah to Joseph to Esther to Daniel, these youth were committed to God all the way down to the bone. McPherson believes that God is looking for kids today who are Bad to the Bone. Young people who are not afraid of going against everything they see and hear their worldly friends doing. They are not afraid of being singled out for being godly, resisting the temptations of teenage life, and being sold out to Jesus. Utilizing one Bible character per week, young people will be challenged to not only identify with these Bad to the Bone young people, but desire to live an out of this world life of faith as they did. |
